Hi, I have just installed Silverlight 5 on my private laptop, and noticed the sytem auto-selected and installed the x64 version (OS is win7 x64). Should i pick the x64 version also when approaching the massive deployment to my biz clients (Win7 x64, too), even if the default browser is IE8 x86. If you download Silverlight from a x64 computer you will get 'Silverlightx64.exe' I had to go to a 32bit computer to be able to download the 32bit version of Silverlight (Silverlight.exe). No need to mess around with msi file for this one.exe works fine with the /q switch.
